adsense goes crazy

One of my web sites which generating approximally 6xx~ clicks per day (counted by adsense, but in real it's generating much more (they cut about 60% of all clicks and we have real facts about it based on our internal click counter)) for a long time now, some days ago earned ~$300/day for this amount of clicks/traffic.

I know, its a good sign, etc.

    but!

What I want to disclose you, is that google has serious problems(or they just "use us as cows"?) with their mechanize.

The problem was that we have such amount of traffic/clicks activity for the long time now and an average day income was about $20-30/day.

    any thoughts about this issue?

P.S. I know about "unpredicted" campaigns.

AdSense stats are not accurate and if you rely on AdLogger than yup, I would agree with Arlanda, they are wayyy off for both the browsers!

Adsense doesn't count multiple clicks from the same IP. But you already knew that. :)

Did I read that right? Adsense says your site gets 6xx or thereabouts every day and you only earn $20-$30 US.... That doesnt sound right.

Not impossible if clicks are less than .05 each.

adsense do not count invalid clicks and mosttt imprtantly adsense do not count clicks open in new window by a user...since most web users are now aware that these ads open in the same page...they mite try to right click n open in new tab/win..n ur click goes into the bin....

Is that true?? I always open everything with a right click! Does that mean nobody is getting credit when I view an ad? That doesn't seem fair!

And I think the links on my blog are set to open in new windows. Maybe that's why I'm not getting very many clicks from my ads!!   :(

Yes I realise this but on average over 600 clicks you should find your earnings a bit better than that unless the niche is at the cheap end of the scale. If it was in this case Id be looking to change the niche a little to a more competitive keyword range.

I don't think so. Even if you open the link in new window you are still opening the whole tracking url which counts the clicks

If you are so sure why don't you give us the link to the information

    .....
In the entertainment niches like the myspace or arcade one the clicks are very cheap so for 600 you might even get less than $20

    read google's FAQ page.

Can I open the ads in a new window?

We understand the importance of maintaining the quality of your site and your site's user experience. However, at this time we do not have an option to open Google ads in a new browser window. Please do not modify the AdSense ad code or alter the result of clicking on an ad on your website, as this is against our program policies.

and i remember asking the google supprt after reading this. They clearly told me that MOST OF THE TIMES clicks that open in a new window is deemed to be an invalid click. Now u trust me or not its on u pal.gud luck

The fact that they don't want visitors to be forced to open the ads in new window does not mean that they don't count the clicks. see the difference?

did you ask them in an email or...?

there is no way to set it up for the AdSense ads... even if you set it as default for your page it won't work for the ads

    yes we use adcounter.

ok, I agree that they cut all "inapropriate" clicks.

based on 600 clicks = $20-30 day = less then 0.03 per click.

so, they cheat advertisers too:) because as you know its hard to bid a keyword for less then $0.05

let me see if I understand that correctly:
your site usually earned 20-30 USd for ...let's say 600 click
and a few days back...you earned 300 USD for the same number of clicks?
is quite impossible...sorry if I misunderstood you

My assumption is that your internall logger is not counting the clicks accurately. Google is never wrong.
