    They should have given some notice.
    It is very disgraceful for a company like paypal have such silly problem.
    More so have to wait till tuesday to see what happens.
    If the policy changes they should have emailed us.
    Hoping for the best that its a technical fault.
    Else we have to look for alternatives.

    I think this is indeed some kind of error on Paypals end. I withdrew $500 yesterday into my US bank but the limits still shows the same.

    Your Monthly Withdrawal Limit is: $500.00 USD per month
    $500.00 USD Remaining

    Whats weird is the total withdrawal limit:

    Your Total Withdrawal Limit: $3,000.00 USD
    $2,000.00 USD Remaining Total ($1000 reduced for $500 withrawal :()

    I think it's a temporary error and Paypal will fix it soon..

    Reading all the 10 pages of this thread, I too think it is an error from Paypal's side. Hope they will resolve it soon.

    It really sucks....if PayPal will not allow us to withdraw more than $500 a month...then we need to look for alternatives like MoneyBookers or so.

    I also sent a mail to PayPal customer service regarding this. Let us wait for their reply.

    Reading this post, I checked my PayPal Monthly Withdrawal Limit again...but still it shows "Your Monthly Withdrawal Limit is: $500.00 USD per month" :(

    Guys if you want to withdraw funds, simply create another paypal account and transfer funds to that account, will cost you 5% extra but your funds won't be blocked.

    I personally feel its not a mistake, paypal is not idote to sit with the problem for 2 day.

    You mean creating a new account everytime we want to withdraw $500 :eek:, and that too an account with the same name everytime to request the check :eek: :rolleyes:

    Just relax guys, don't try and make new paypal accounts. Its not something you can use in the long run, NOR should it be used as a short term fix.

    Lets just wait for them to sort it out and give a firm reply.
