What FREE AntiVirus do You Use?

yup AVG is one of the best free antivirus.

 

Yep. I tried Avast. Didn't much like it. So went back to AVG. The program has run very well over the last few years on my different pcs. This pc used to have symantec until I found it slow, unreliable, and expensive. Expensive didn't worry me so much, until the other problems showed themselves.

Occasionally I get a virus these days, though most worried by IM viruses and payloads rather than email.

I use Avast Antivirus as well.

 

AVG Free here as well... In fact just loaded the latest version

I use AVG as well! I think it's working good.. my laptop is still up and running

 

My vote goes for Avast free home edition. I am using it for 2 years with out any complains.

 

Me too. I am using Avast and it works very well and I love that guy when he tells me he's updated it for me lol.


For a firewall I am using Sygate.

 

I started using avg a few months ago and have to admit it's quite good. Does the job and it's free

 

I use AVG free with regular online updates and the default Windows XP firewall.

I also use them and it seems pretty good. The only problem is that they are a bit confusing but once you get the hand of it it's quite good.

I use Zonealarm as well; also was using AVG think I will go back. Anyone have a good free spyware?

When Free Anti Virus comes into picture the best one I think is AVG Anti Virus

 

I'm using Avira AntiVir because many people say it's the best...

 

I used it for some time but now it's not free anymore so I had to opt for something else. It is a great antivirus tool but unfortunately not free.
