A question I get asked a lot is if the software I offer can handle over 1 million URLs. The answer is YES. I have ran the software against sites with over 2 million URLs and it had no problems whatsoever. You can download it free at: http://www.brianpautsch.com/Blog/2007/2/21/Sitemap-Generator-v4-Released/
The ROR tool is nice. I just created a sitemap.xml file for my site and will see what happens. Does anyone have any statistics or first-hand experience in having a sitemap actually increase rankings?
Having a sitemap saved my butt. I had a blog that contained a bad theme and there was a bug preventing it from going to the next page in the archive. Long story short, Google would never have seen the pages had I not had the map!
Wow thanks for that, its very fast, it processed 500 pages in a few seconds, I am having it crawl a large forum of mine Thanks a lot.
