How much money are you making from AdSense by entering the Google AdSense Client ID in your DP Profile.

I just want to know whether I could earn some money from this if I have say more than 2000 posts or so.

There are thousands of members at this forum. NOBODY is going to make more than a few cents a month, no matter how many posts he has.

guys there were times when i used to earn $5/day just from DP.adsense revenue sharing worth if you use it in a proper way.

 

yeah once I got a click worth $1.7 btw our client id appears on threads started by us right? and not on threads where we just made some posts.

Yes once I get clicks worth $1.79 and $1.26. But am earning just $0.04 avg. when I checked the totals. So far i got only $4 or so.

 

The money you earn depends on how many threads you start per day and not on your total number of posts. Don't think you can earn a living from DP itself, unless you buy DP (and I don't think Shawn is going to do that )
But there are other ways you can earn some money, like selling sig links, avatar etc.

 

Personally, I would like to see those practices banned.

 

That is because $20 or $50 per month is not a big deal for you. But that is not the case for all. Being an Indian student I know the difficulty. It is difficult to make money in India, wheras my expenses (as far as my web development interests are concerned) are high, since I have to pay in dollars ( $1 = INR 45 approx). Hence even $10 / month is something for me, as I can pay my hosting bill with it. Afterall, I don't visit this forum just to ask for help, I do help others with my opinion and solutions.
I had a colorful avatar of Tux for a few days. It was of no use to anyone, I even doubt whether anyone has noticed it. But now I have the domain of a site as my avatar. He may get some visitors from it, atleast somebody will remeber his domain name. And I will make some money from it.
This is my opinion. Afterall it depends on your outlook on service and business.

 

I don't think the amount of money involved is the issue. I think having your forum look like a gallery of whore-mongers is the issue.

First it was selling sig links. Then it was selling avatars. Next it will be location fields... and then what?

 

I am also against selling the location field. But I still can't find any problem with selling sig links. I try to make most of my posts useful to others (directly or indirectly). As I said before, so why shouldn't I do the same with my avatar and sig links too? I don't have 4 sites to put in my sig link. I know that you will consider this as a lame excuse to justify my side. But I strongly do feel this way.

 

i think its useless to comments on sig and avatar.more than 1000+ members are here just because they are getting some money from sigs and avatar so they can start their own sites and pay for hosting.DP has given this good opportunities for honest members to get started earning some money.after all many other sites are scams.Me too is one of those happy members Dp helped me grow my business.for about 76-7 months i sold DP signature and bought 3-4 domains and bought phpfox script worth $300 and now my sites are growing,i spend every money earned from DP for my website promotions.

So finally what you call "whore-mongers" sorry to comments but i don't think so.if banners were allowed here that may look like it.but not with sig' links i guess.

 

No one clicks the ads in the 0.5 cm line here. When they need something, they use google.com
