HTML directory: what do you think?

I've decided to create this directory in HTML only because it won't cost me a penny in hosting. The second reason behind not using any prog language is the limited number of ULRS and Ads i will be getting in the future (Removals services in the UK)
    How does it look?

I am also thinking to start one (already bought a domain for that purpose) but that wont be open for public submission. All the links will be added by me and it will be obviously a paid directory. I think banless's index-it.net is a html based directory, he can tell us better on this.

A html directory is easy to create just have php and create dynamic pages and then create static pages by using .htaccess

and also you can have the submit page in php!

If you have any doubts contact me and do not contact PHPLD anon

Yup, save yourself the headache of changing every page. If you need to make a change in say... your footer - you can change it once in an include instead of every page. At least us SSI (Server Side Includes) - .shtml files.

with less than 10-15 pages it will be ok. Anything over that is going to be pain when it comes to modifications :)

I thought of that once, then i realized how dumb of an idea it was when i found out what a php script was that did everything i wanted and more...

Like 20 Hour Work Days? Go HTML.

    Like Vacation? Go Directory Script.

    It's a personal choice. ;)

skillipedia, I'd be cautious about your current contact method i.e. a mailto link -- spammers & scrappers just love that, once they find it you'll be spammed to death.

Either use a submit form or give your email address as a graphic.
