Redirecting a website?

    Do you think when you buy a similar website to your own and redirect it to your main website, this would work?

    I heard that it could be pointless?
    Although if you want to build up traffic and visitors on your website, would this be a good idea to do?

    If the site has incoming links related to your site, PR, and has good position in the SERPS...of course!
