How much is a PR4 forum with:

60K Posts
7.5K Threads
3.5K Members

10-15 signups per day.
300-500 new posts per day.
No paid posting at all.

Currently making around $100/Month through AdSense but spending $90 on a server.
Great potential as the site is also hosting over 2K websites, on which you can force ads on.

How much would something like this be worth?

How much time do you spend maintaining this site?
You are not bringing in much for the time spent, I believe.
But, you should be able to get min $500.

 

Maybe some people are that smart . And possibly that could be another site of mine .

I have a great staff who does most of the work on the forums and creating accounts. I put in 15-30 minutes/day in order to deal with support and some issues that staff can't handle.

I was just being sarcastic . But anyways, how much is something like this worth? I know it does not make much, but when I forced ads back in November when we were only hosting around 800 accounts, I made $400 that month.

If I may ask, why then you don't force ads again? You advertise that your free hosting is ads free, are you aalowed now to force ads?

 

I also pmed him about clarification... Always you could/should... assumptions :-( You want $x,xxx ? You never will get it, because for the moment you net income is $10 ($100 - $90). I think Google cancelled your account, why else would you remove ads which bring in $400 per month ?

The problem with free hosting is the support you still need to give, right ?

I have a business for sale, a convenient store, on a busy street.
I have 2 millions people getting in every day, with a gross income of 15 millions dollars a day. Expenses are 15 millions a day.
Will you buy it for $50???

Well, when you think about it, you could easily lower expenses or higher the prices just a bit and begin making some money.

We are not banned by google, or we would not be using google ads . We removed ads from the people's site because we wanted to stand out from other Free Web Hosts and build a member database.

I dont know but what I would do is sell entertainment links on the forum and on the web sites myself. I have good luck advertising arcades on free mail and templates sites should work here
I would use both the forum and the site to cross promote many a different project. From image and file hosting to myspace sites. In my mind worth quite a bit but of course. I have 10 dollars in the bank. So what do I know

Also considering selling banner space on the site.

I have the smae business and you have the vision to make 2 millions/year.
Will you pay 2 millions?
If yes, buy a book about negaciation.

If you have the business and I have the vision, I'll say:
"your business make no money whatsoever. I'll give 10 bucks. I know I'm losing my shirt here because the business make nothing and I understand I'll work for free, so 10 bucks is really great profit for you"
Then I buy it and turn my vision into 2 millions/year.
But TODAY, it makes no money.Period.
