so you can't edit anything except the tags after install? Can you edit meta data, add banner, change style?
The youtube script uases a header.php and footer.php template system which can easily be edited including title, meta tags, banners, etc.

Hey I known the developer ("scriptillusion") of this script for a long time. and I know positively that they never use anyone elses code, products they have coded for me in the past have never used even open source code supplied on the web, they always start from scratch. Unlisted, you'd better be very sure about your sources before slandering people like this in a public forum. or you might be the one getting sued I hate when people come in and create drama in a good thread for now reason at all.. pete
I bought this script over sitepoint and install in my server NOT EVEN 24 HOURS I GOT EMAIL FROM PHPLOOKER.COM. So I end up paid twice for this scripts. I have bother version phplooker.com and the illegal version. THEY BOTH ARE THE SAME. All "scriptillusion" just change and edit around and make some tags. Most of the buyer get the problem from the script because youtube just update and "scriptillusion" dont have the lastest update from phplooker.com So before you jump into something or make a comment make sure you know the truth...
sounds like you got scammed by phplooker gootube uses an api, which is a very simple interface.. unless you have solid evidence which im sure you do not, in terms of the code used, I would refrain from making such serious comments in a public forum. pete

unlisted80, i too have to take sides with peteinoz2 on this one ... i've known the guys at scriptillusion for several years now ... they do all their own programming ... id be a little careful throwing around "illegal" and "copied" regarding someones work ... you'd be better served doing some hard research and contacting the proper people to report such findings, rather than throwing some s*#% around on a forum (but again you are not going to find scriptillusion in the wrong here) ... they are good people ... just my 2 cents worth ...

I am sorry you had trouble purchasing a script, but I know for a fact that you never purchased a script from us. You purchased the script from sitepoint, correct? Well we have never posted it on sitepoint. Furthermore, if you think you somehow purchased our script, how did you install it? Did you download it? I really think you need to post a link to the script that you purchased so we can all see what you are talking about. I think this a case of mistaken identity. Our script works completely fine and we have had no complaints from anyone of our buyers telling us it is not working.
