    That is COOL!

You should have gone with a poll though instead of the Plexo voting.

And put the Guestbook last, and reword it. "Chicken Lovers Unite!" or something.

I think your idea and execution is brilliant.

    Glad you like it. :D

I chose plexo over poll so people could add their own suggestions, which nobody's done yet. If adding new answers is not a popular feature I'll switch to a poll.

Re: guestbook. I'm happy to take the advice of an expert. I wonder if I'll get to the top of google for the search chicken lovers... ;)

I think this sites a bit of a joke to be honest. I signed up the other day, went to log in today and said my account hadn't been confirmed...when it had. I resent the confirmation email and clicked the link, then when I tried to log in it said my password was incorrect. I changed my password and used the log on password they gave me. I was on my account editing the page and I left it for a while, came back finished the work and published it. Then it just took me to the Squidoo home page and asked me to log in. I logged in and now i've lost a load of my work because it never published the page when I asked it to.

I'm trying to log in and now its saying my account hasn't been confirmed again

It seems to be working just fine for most people. Maybe it was a temporary glitch or something... try contacting Squidoo to see if they can help with the problem.

The squidoo server was very slow when I was editing a lens earlier, which is quite unusual. There could be some changes/upgrades happening.

I had to confirm my account for the third time today, managed to log in and change some stuff too.

    Heres my link: http://www.squidoo.com/matchedbetting

Finding it quite slow still and sites on the server taking awhile to load.

Can anyone recommend me ways of getting traffic to my site? Have I missed anything out?

    Thanks

Yesterday I checked my logs and I had gotten my first visitor from my Squidoo page! I'm hoping my server can cope with the traffic. ;)

It hasn't brought me any visitors (well, one), and not any money. But I did get a PR3 link out of it. :)

Anyone fancy having a look at my Squidoo page and giving me some feedback please? :)

I'm not sure if i've flooded it with a bit too much text...looking at other Squidoo pages it seems people use other features such as news etc but its hard adding news to mine.

    http://www.squidoo.com/matchedbetting

Is there any sites you can use to promote your Squidoo page?

    Thanks for any help.

Mine do ok at bringing a few bucks, and getting an OK PR which benefits my other sites linked on them. All I do is announce them here (might try adding one or two to my sig eventually), and put a temporary link on my myspace page. Then join a few related groups on Squidoo, and it will give you a start. :)

I made a thread about it in Lenses We Like. Megan Casey must have seen it. She put the link in a post she made some time after that.

Your intro is far too long. And you don't need the guestbook.

Use a whole bunch of Text/Write modules instead.

Stop by www.squidoo.com/module, www.squidoo.com/what and www.squidoo.com/unimproved for a few tips to point you in the right direction.

You have a lot of information. I'm not into betting, but from what I see if I wanted to learn about it your lens would be a good place to start.

I made a Bargain Hunter Lens and a Dell Outlet Lens!

I'll rate your lens if you PM me letting me know you rated mine!

    Thanks!

Yup, I do it consistently with this lens: http://www.squidoo.com/traffic_building
and have kept it in the top hundred for over 76 days now. At one point it had a lensrank of 8. It jumps back and forth as I implement different tactics from my other lens.
