Hello Every DP Fellows, I am new to dp and hope to find solution here. Ok, my problem is when I click on page rank on google toolbar & click on cached snapshot of page it tells no results found. In google webmaster central >> webmaster tools, when i login and c my site's last crawl it shows Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Dec 24, 2006. i my site is not crawl since last 2 months. What should I do? Please give me some advice.
give a search of site:www.yourdomain.com and see if you are getting any results 1) get links from other older and well indexed sites. 2) submit a sitemap to google sitemaps.
Try to get more links from ur them related sites, submit ur url to different directories. Update ur Xml site map when ever u add some new pages & submit it to google & make verify it by google.
I monthly submit to some 50-70 directories. i also have resource page i recently removed some links cause they were not linking back & will find and insert some more reciprocal. few weeks ago i changed my title metatag. so do i have to re generate & resubmit my xml site map every time i update some thing on my site. but update was few weeks ago, & my home page is crawled since dec 24. so by resubmitting xml will it be cache .
Not every time u make any changes in ur pages but yes when u add some new pages. Put some new relevant content on ur pages.
I have not add any new pages but some updates on contact us & resource page(removed some Links) so i think i dont have to resubmit xml sitemap. so how do i refresh google bot to cache. or have to wait and watch, though i am submitting to directories, but it depends when google crawls those directories and comes to my site via text link.
Change ur content , make 2-3 blogs in different blogging sites, becoz blogs r crawled very frequently & put a link of ur site map there. Submit articles it will help u to increase ur back link as well as invite bot to crawl ur site frequently.
