It was still a great header by Larsson though, he has such a good leap.

Man Utd are now 2nd favourite to win the Champions League at odds of about 4/1, Chelski are the favourites.

Is it me or has nearly every team been under performing in the Champions League this year?? I can't think of any "stand-out" clubs left in the tournament. I think Bayern would be a team worth avoiding, and I wouldn't like Man Utd to be drawn against Liverpool or Chelski.

Yes I agree that drew should good for Manu and also no match agianst any English cup. This UEFA champions league is wide open now and Bayern have good chance to win this but if engish clubs done better than we can hope Engish final.

I am sure we would win this year UEFA champ.

Yes this is excellent goal from Larsson and excellent pass from Ronaldo but it is very emotional goal for me because Larsson is no longer part of Manchester United team.

One good thing is that he scored goals in his first match and last match and both times in knock out stage. First one in FA cup and last one in UEFA champ.

    We miss you Larsson.:)

Man Utd have been drawn against Roma in the Champions League :D

I think this is great news, Roma are one of the weaker sides in the finals IMO.

Also theres a chance Liverpool and Chelsea will meet in the Semi Finals (2 of the better teams left in the finals I think, and ones we would be lucky to avoid for as long as possible)

    Quarter-final draw:
    Milan v Bayern Munich
    PSV Eindhoven v Liverpool
    Roma v Manchester United
    Chelsea v Valencia

I would fancy Bayern to beat Milan and would expect Valencia to beat Chelsea, though they are bound to be good matches.

They are played over 2 legs aren't they?

We've been lucky in our last couple of games but not lucky overall this season, overall this season we've just simply been amazing. We have played by far the best football, scored the most goals and conceded the least. We've been unstoppable and fully deserve to be where we are. It's been a good season for United :D

Well this is great draw for Manchester united because we are much stronger than Roma and we also have an away match. AS Roma drew last match at home agianst Lyon and we are hoping same thing.
Yes this is really intresting and there is good chance to win UEFA by English clubs.

Why we are lucky? We done excellent in this season desptie of last 4 wins. We have good away record so far and also good goal scoring records.

Yes we have big match because of only one striket at the moments but I am sure we will do better in this match.

I don't think you guys should be celebrating the way you are :). Roma are the underdogs for this one, but you shouldn't underestimate them.

A side which can defeat Lyon at home is certainly a side to reckon with. That said, all teams at this stage of the Champions League will make you work your socks off. Roma play open football, and they have speedy guys like Mancini and Taddei to counter attack. Totti has been in great form for them this season, and they are almost assured of 2nd spot in Serie A.

The first leg is at the Olimpico, and if United can come with a draw ( especially with an away goal) they are in pole position. This is a rare occasion for Roma, because the Giallarossi have not seen this stage in the CL for quite some time now. They have nothing to lose, and if United with the injuries they have, tire in the League, Roma could fancy themselves to dump Fergie's boys out of Europe.

I'd have loved Bayern to play United because it would have been a repeat of the 99 final. That may still happen in the semifinals.

Personally I like the draw as a Liverpool fan. We have played PSV in the group stages, so it isn't that we are playing unknown opposition. If Valencia get through, Rafa can put his tactical brain to work. Chelsea won't have it easy against Valencia, but I think both of them are beatable.

I'd like a Liverpool Milan final. Would be a cracking affair.

Well you are right AS Roma is one of the best team in Itlay and they have quite good players. Well I am sure my boys will be ready from injury and come back for that match. If we manage away drew with goal than we have good chance to meet Bayern in Semi-final and Liverpool in Final.:)

I want Engish club final and I am sure Rafa know it better agaisnt his former club.

I would like a Liverpool - Manu final.

Shame about the result today :( 2:2 vs Middlesbrough away in the FA Cup.
I only saw the first half, and we looked pretty comfortable, very dangerous when going forward too - but then they equalised.

We haven't got many strikers right now so we could have done without the replay, I think we'll manage okay at home though.
