I need a free domain reseller account.

I have a small web hosting business. I want my customers to be able to register domains when (or before) they buy hosting from me. I was hoping to somehow integrate this into my site.

Obviously, I can't afford to become a registrar. However, I am hoping to find a company that will allow me to sell domains to my customers as a middleman, allowing for branding and keeping my customers on my site to buy hosting.

I want a free account. I saw that godaddy and a few others have reseller accounts, but they require an activation fee and/or membership fee from me. (Seems kind of silly that I would have to pay them to help sell their products...) I want one that doesn't require any such down payments.

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

I would check out http://www.resellerclub.com/. There is no membership fee (the only fee is to "charge" your account). Try and make a $499 deposit if you can, because the domains are then $6.99 (.com/net/org).

ModernBill gives away free $7.95 enom accounts at http://www.modernbill.com/domain-resellers/

There are also numerous free $8.95 enom account places around the internet.

    Best of luck.

Well, I think they want people who are serious about selling for them. Without the fees, it would mean that anyone who is anyone could just sign up and take advantage of the lower prices and thus may mean that less people will want to buy any domains from them at regular prices.

When reselling, you can determine the prices you want to sell and make from there.

You could sign up for a free Enom account from http://www.webhostingreport.net/domains/form.php

Isn't this a little bit tricky because isn't there a Min Registration of 1 domain per Year for each domain extension and a Max Registration per Year of 10... sorry if I'm wrong...

This site is just another directi reseller I believe, couldn't you get lower prices by just going with directi themselves?

Directi prices are way higher than their reseller. The prices they offer for higher domain registrations ar elaso very high. The least I was able to find after lots of searches is Domaincentral.
I m not sure if there is any other reseller offering a better price.if there is one I would like to have it.
Generally as far as I know, ICANN advices to sell at the minimum of $6.25 for .com TLD and a 0.25 fee for ICANN. Thats the reason why registrars liek Godaddy offers a price 6.99. Only certain companies sell at a price lesser than these trying to recover the loss in second year.
