Whats this site worth?

I have a site that averages 100K unique/mo (no advertising) and makes around $400 to $600 a month. I am thinking of selling it and was wondering what it's worth?

Well I would not sell it for less than 12,000 the domain name alone is worth $2000 it is all natural trafic. The sites only 4 or 5 months old and the traffic is steady at 3500 to 4000 unique a day and growing. The $ from the site has doubled in the last 2 months. From day one is has made $300 a month now its around $400 to $600 If your interested I will send you the URL $12,000 is my base price.

By the way the domain name is #1 in the catagory and #5 in off categories.

Without a longer earnings history, you site could be worth less to prospective buyers, as there is more risk in the purchase. It might be worth your while to hold the site and profit long-term.

Well the domain is a HUGE factor and the natural traffic alone is fantastic. I only see it growing. Right now were ava 100k unique a month. Our alexa rating had dropped to half what it was in less than a month. These are great stats.

 

You'll never get 20-30x monthly earnings on a 4-5 month year old site unless your domain name is something like "banking.com". It seems like you're caught up in your site. With so much "potential", it might be best to hold on to it until you can justify your lofty price tag. I find it suspiciaous that it's "earned $300 a month from day one", meaning you somehow got decent TRAFFIC from day one. Will these sources stay? You say traffic is "natural", but don't define what you mean, so I'll assume it means no advertising. It still doesn't mean you don't get 90% of your traffic from one of your sites, or from a very unstable source.

I have heard the general rule of thumb is earnings per month X 24 months. So in that sense your 12,000 expectation is a fair price.
