I bet EarlPearl will blame him for such :)

This was a sham case. The prosecutor knows who outted her, yet he's wasting time playing partisan politics for the democrats.

Who did it then? Doesn't say in articles, just that he was lying. Guess you could take that to be he was lying and was actually the one who outed her. Let me know, haven't been following this for a while.

I take it this is higher up than him, he just is the sacrificial lamb.

Joe Wilson actually outed his own wife in his book, which was published several years ago...secondly, there is no proof that his wife was a "covert" agent at the time, she was a pencil pusher behind a desk...so therefore there was no way that Libby or anyone else could be charged with "outing a CIA agent"...thirdly, Wilson and Plame were both very visible for many years together, and neither tried to conceal the identity of Plame or where she worked...this is why to this day there is still no one charged with "outing a CIA agent." You can't out someone who has already done it themselves many times....

You really are delluded. Maybe you should contact all of the people involved in investigating the leak and tell them what you know. You always seem to have some facts of your own

Thats because I watch the news and read....if I am delluded, then how come no one has been charged for "outing a CIA operative"?? Why has Fitzgerald said there will be no other charges filed? Maybe, just maybe, because no one broke that law....????

Whether Valerie Plame's identity as a 'non-official cover' covert CIA operative was classified or not is not known by you or me or anyone else outside of the CIA.

The underlying law is the Intelligence Identities Protection Act of 1982, I'm pretty sure your fox news or cnn won't really go into the boring details of such a complex case.

Your claim that Plame was just a pencil pusher behind a desk is just a joke, I laughed when I first heard that on fox news too. A fake company was set up by the CIA to allow non-official cover operatives to travel abroad without any links to the US government, the company is Brewster Jennings & Associates. This info was also leaked and may have resulted in the outing of other CIA operatives. Using front companies is a standard CIA tactic.

It was the CIA that wrote to the Justice Department requesting the investigation of the unathorised release of classified information. You can see in the original indictment of Libby that a law was broken and the judge would have thrown the case out if he disagreed with the Government and the CIA.

Anyway, aside from the facts, you are correct :)
