I use the semiologic pro theme and yes you can make a website out of it. No, you do not have resale rights to the script. You can set up all the site's you want for yourself but you are not allowed to resell the script.

hmmm...if i'm not mistaken you can do a simple website with wordpress..but no cms feature..just need a custom made theme that will exclude couple of wp element and add a website feature in place. let's say you want the wp feature such sidebar cat and link and the text and loop area but you need an extra something in the right page so you can add or modify similiar website content like other website. like you mention above the masala site definately a custom made wordpress maybe since it includes a loop in content about the kareena and other hotties there..hehe.. you can check out the celebface.com that may run the similiar script and wp to the site ..not sure lol i assumed the masala site strip or modify sidebar to exclude category and other link in sidebar....and put the it own website content there.
hey thanx buddy i tinkkk im gettint he idea im lookin at my wordpress theme i currently run ....so if im not rong i can MIX a custom made HTML template with the PHP of wordpress to make a custom theme?? those hotties on masala site makes it look way more attractive than it actualy is lolz thanx friend ill pm u soon
