hey pete, i am thinking of creating a new avatar.. are you allowing animations in the avatar? let me know like a link blink or something ... it will ofcourse be a .gif but will have switching slides or something. let me know thanks
I was thinking about that. You could have the list sorted by directory name or PR. It would make a lot of difference.

Well, the links should be live. If you don't want to make the link count as a back linke you can always use no follow rule.
I would suggest that you use the actual domain name for the directory name. Why? Because there's so many similar directories out there that it's hard to distinguish between them using a simple "directory name." For instance, all these directories can use the same name "Alive Directory" http://www.alivedirectory.com http://www.alivelinks.com http://www.alivelinkdirectory.com
