This is a great site of mine but I don't have time to be active on it any more, and want to see it go to a good home. I'm not selling this to anyone who plans on putting on tons of pop-ups or spamming the large email newsletter.

    PR: 2
    Predicted PR: 4

    GREAT CPM.

Main pages CPM: $3.67 (One month average)
Forum CPM: .67 (One month average)

Makes $10 a day and is steadily increasing.

Literally no work is required, the forums are run by a volunteer admin and moderation team that will definitely appreciate having an active admin online again. I simply dont have time any more because of school.

    Forum Stats:
    2,700 Members
    56,000 Posts
50-120 Users online at any time
20-40 New Members Each Day and INCREASING! Its been like this for the last two months.

Even if the memberships per day wasn't increasing, it'll have 10k+ members in less than a year.

    Traffic:

    Indexed Pages for planetrakion.com

    Google: 9,710
    MSN Search: 95
    Yahoo!: 10,673
    AlltheWeb: 10,300

400 visits a day are from SE Organic Traffic

Front page listing on google, yahoo, and msn for "Rakion" - the #1 keyword for the game

    700-2000 daily visitors
    5,000-10,000 daily page views

    Taking offers greater than $5k

How old is the site? How long has it been making $10/day?

    Thanks!

I'd be interested but the price is too high (in my humble opinion). Sites like this that require a lot of owner work (moderating, content, etc.) usually sell for the oft repeated 10x revenue. Also, I've discovered that gaming sites I've purchased do require more input than other forums as there are so many out there. Finally, the last gaming site I looked at earning $300 per month sold for less than 10x monthly so while I wish you luck, I'm afraid you may be asking too much. I'd definitely be interested at a lower price, though.

    Just my .02,
    FG

The site is one year old, mostly prior to the game being released. Its been released for a few months, which is how long I've had ads on it and its been making a solid $10/day with almost linear increases.

Yes, but sites with this high of CPM and growth sell for projected 10x and not current 10x. Ask google or News Corp about youTube and MySpace ;) And in this case, we're not talking about unprofitable to billions, we're talking 300/month to 800/month. Very realistic, if not certain. We've had 20-40 new members a day for the last few months :D I'd definetly keep it if I didnt feel it had more potential with someone with more time. I currently spend 0 time on this site and its growing this fast. If I don't sell it, I'm going to hire someone to run it instead.

Taking bids starting at 5k, BIN at 10k.

    Hi,

I'm not trying to get into a pi**ing match but I believe valuation is always a reasonable topic for discussion (and if the numbers look good I might make an offer, albeit probably lower than you're looking for).

First, cpm really doesn't factor in. If a site earns $10 a day with a cruddy cpm or an awesome cpm, it doesn't matter. With a consistent cpm, regardless of what it is, a growth rate of x will still result in a revenue increase of x, regardless of cpm.

Second, sites grow but sites also lose members. Furthermore, existing members become ad-weary and visually ignore the ads. So, a linear growth rate is required just to maintain the same revenue.

Ultimately, the best proof you can offer is to post your adsense (or whatever revenue source you have) daily for the time you've owned the site along with the member count, again, for each day and it would be easy to see a growth in members of x means a growth in revenue of y.

All that having been said, the SE placement is very impressive and should be factored into the price as well.

    Thanks in advance for stats,
    FG
