I posted a thread here few days back ( can see in my signature) explaining I forgot my password to ypn account! Somehow I managed to recall the pass and now able to login When I login to the account there is an alert at top. ((Snap attached to the thread)). I a not a us citizen and this account is simple useless for me If I give the account to any us citizen and he fills the W-8 form with his own SSN /EIN and Tax name ( payee name) and fax them will it work for him?
probuably not. this message means that the tax info in there cannot be verified with the irs. what they want is for you to fix the info. but hey, if you are giving the account away, it doesnt hurt to try. if you are selling it, you are likely ripping someone off. if you are looking for a partner, then you both take the risk of terminating the account. jmo
be the way for what? you arent going to get paid (if you use the account) until the tax info is verified. thats not going to happen until you give them valid information. you dont seem to have valid info to give them. seems like an open / shut case to me. if you are giving the account away, just give it away and let someone else try. if you want to give it to me, i'll take it. jmo
