The adult industry is massive, but IMHO the online adult inductry is saturated. It's becoming very difficult to make sales while competing with all the sites that giveaway tons of free content. There are masses of traffic to be had. So, massive industry, great money to be made, but no easier than any other.
I have no experience, but here is my .02; If you can make your own original content you will get there faster. (by "there" I mean your private jet and mansion) Blogs are the new "in" thing. Pretend to be a filthy young teenage chick and write about your sexual experiences. I think im gonna try to get around to this industry this summer when I have break from school. I think it would be fun, at the very least.

I've read something somewhere that if you took all the porn sites and added their income it would be more then combining sites like yahoo, google, myspace, aol, msn and many other top sites.
