We sell articles... even articles for article submission, if anything I should be with it like you. Many of our customers purchase articles to submit them to article directories, I OWN an article directory... We used to be one. All signs should point to me promoting article submission for more sales and traffic but I don't. The last thing I do is come to forums to SPAM, thats another rookie move.
CC, I totally understand what you are saying. Article marketing isn't as effective as it used to be, but it is still a very powerful tool to get traffic, clickbank sales and adsense revenue. I think why you are saying article marketing is useless (and saying we are giving "false information" here) is because you think the majority of people spend $10 -$15 bucks to buy an article (or hire a writer) for article submission. But I don't think it is the case. As far as I know, most people spend 5-10 mins to rewrite an article and submit it for backlink and traffic. It is by far the most effective way (basically free and you DO get traffic from your article, either in the form of direct traffic or traffic from MSN) to get traffic without worrying about any NEGATIVE consequences (e.g. forum spamming).
What was your username again? In all seriousness, really the results you get with article submissions depends on the quality of the directory. Sticking to a handful of quality directories including ezine will give decent results, and it's worth it especially when all it takes is a few minutes to submit.
Yup, it is all about the quality of directories. If used correctly, article submission can still make you tons of money. Want a real example? Here is how one of the SEO expert on DP make money from article marketing: Create 30 directories, write ONE article for each site and submit it to 1xx article site. Result? He gets 30 pr3 sites in the recent pr update, and he is making $30 for every link posted in his directories (so it will be $1 per permanent link). If you compare the money he made (not quite sure about the exact number, but it should be more than 30 links = $900) and the time and money he spent (10 mins per article = 300 mins = 5 hours + the money he spent on domain registration + hosting), you will realize that this method is still "worth it". People are making money from this method in different creative ways.
i dont think so., I gained ranking for a somewhat competitive keyword which cannot be found anywhere on our site by just submitting our articles to aritcle sites through articlemarketer But i have to face several disapprovals and correct them every time i submit an article
I agree..with article writing, we can totally pass the SEO limitation just by writing articles and be visible to most competitve keywords...just focus on very good article directories, but what i understand the problem is with the article...can u send here the article so that we can review them..thanks
ArticleMarketer sucks! I tried their service last fall for about two months and I realized over half of my articles were never submitted. When I contacted them to cancel, they said they were sorry to see me leave and told me they were going to be "dramatically" improving their services in the near future. From the sounds of this thread, it doesn't sound like they've made their improvements yet. I use Article Post Robot (software submitting tool) that works flawlessly. I have been submitting articles to 200+ directories on a regular basis for two months now and haven't had any issues with it. I've also double checked many of the directories to make sure they were all submitted and they were. It is by far THE best tool for mass submissions. You can submit to hundreds of directories in about 45 minutes. You just enter your article info and submit and walk away. It truly rocks. I manually submit my articles to the "big dogs" however such as EzineArticles and GoArticles. Travis
I just got my answer weeks later.... they sent me a special sign up php to allow the special offer... so if you get into this situation, just bitch at them and keep sending complaint emails untill they send you the signup link... I just dropped the whole thing.... I just don't trust them anymore..
Boy this is getting hard to follow... my input above was from an earlier post where I asked if anyone knew how to get the $199.00 2 year good deals that was offered by articlemarketing... the original is far back up the line on page one of this thread..
I use a piece of software to send off articles (email and post)... the rest I have a process to do them by hand. I have used iSnare in the past... It does get your articles out there. -SS
