I sold an xbox 360 when it first came out and I made about a 300 dollar profit. It was actually pretty fun. I did the same thing with the PS3, but I didn't sell it on ebay. I returned it to the store because I waited close to Christmas to sell. By the time Christmas rolled around everyone knew it wasn't worth the profit margins people were making when it first came out.
Roger that. I put a few signs up around my area that said "PS3 for sale $3000", I got a few offers and my highest one was $2,000 but I held out for more because I figured I had another month til Christmas to get offers. Greed doesn't always pay.
I sold a guitar once....it was a 7 string electric...made 50$ on it...also sold a broken 17" lcd for 70$, it was 100% profit as it was given to me...
My first and only sale ;-) at the moment was a LP sticker. Oh well, a small but sure step. With ebay, you have to be persistent and know how to do the pricing and marketing ;-)
I have 2 powerseller accounts, one for new adult DVDs, the other for misc. stuff like clothes and video cables.
I've been trading musical instruments on eBay for about 8 years, mostly guitars and synthesizers. Not for the sake of profit as much as using it as a discount rental shop - since they tend to buy and sell for the same price the only rental fee is the shipping (beats $40 a month at some instrument shops...) As for trying to make a profit, I couldn't imagine doing well with much of anything on ebay after fees, paypal fees, low margins because of the size of the marketplace and vast competition, non-paying bidders, scammers, etc. Ebay is great for getting rid of junk. Probably not so great as the pillar of one's business.
i didn't got any success , got one order for ebook but that person didn't responded after clicking on my product buy link .
I haven't found anything that is worth selling on Ebay. Ebay is too cut throat. It's hard to make a profit unless you are doing something unique. Or cashing in on the fads, Tickle Me Elmo, Xbox etc.
