A link with a no-follow attribute is only useful if you can provide traffic...which I am sorry to say, you can not. A free link with a no-follow attribute (from a brand new directory) is about as useful as a third testicle.

Also, what's up with all those nasty ads? You have 2 huge 300x300 ads, 1 250x250 ad, and 1 768x60 ad per page. That really cheapens the directory.

    I would suggest the following:

    1. Remove those obtrusive ads...they serve no purpose as most webmasters will ignore them.

    2. Make it a paid directory only or a free directory...no-follows are useless.

How you claim that its free

    Regular links $2
    Regular links with reciprocal Free
    Links with nofollow attribute Free

Do you mean that Links with nofollow attribute is Free

When you make a thread in this category, you must clearly specify that you require a reciprocal. And also, no one will be interested in free links with no follow attributes. It's just a waste of time.

Also, you should disable image validation if you want to make sales.

It's sad to say, but image validation should be the least of his concerns.

Looking at the number of obtrusive ads he has on each page, and the fact that half of his directory is below the fold (on my 1280x1024 resolution), I doubt that making sales is his primary concern.
