There are others like Pollution, Teen Pregnancy, etc. The piece has to be on a ridiculous (satirical) proposal to a problem, with the narrator being completely serious. Example, "War on Drug Usage - All drugs should be legalized, improving the tax base for the country by taxing them like alcohol and cigarettes." Well, I got an idea. Keep in mind that this is supposed to be completely unethical and twisted. Problem: Overpopulation Solution: Promoting homosexuality at young ages. Points: - Homosexuals will not accidentally reproduce. - Most common AIDs is tranferred between gay men, so AIDs will control overopulation a little. - Gay Marriages = No own kids, but adoptions = helpful for poverty. Technically, you can just teach the boys and girls to like each other, rather than others... It is controversial, but for the sake of the essay, Ill pitch it as a learned characteristic.
