Hello everyone! I see celebrity news and gossips blogs/website more than ever. I have no idea about the payout available in this niche but apparently, everyone is going after a celebrity gossips blog. Now from what I know, you can NOT use Adsense on websites that display softcore porn, drugs etc. Most of these celebrity gossip websites use quite indecent language and publish nude pictures of celebrities, inappropriate and adult videos blah blah. Why then do I keep seeing Google AdSense on these sites? Why does Google not block AdSense accounts of such publishers who violate Google's terms of use. Either that or maybe I have gotten the whole thing wrong? Need your opinon about this. I have got a few examples for you guys to see the content of such sites/blogs yourself. Disclamer: I am in NO way related to these websites and this is NOT an attempt to promote these websites what-so-ever. This is only to show some live examples and if I am violating the rules in any way, I would love for any mod to take care of these URL and delete them asap ninjadude.com toxicmagazine.com the-feeding-tube.com idontlikeyouinthatway.com drunkenstepfather.com heavy.com The list goes on and on and on. Most of these websites use AdSense and even some Porn Ads for support. What the heck is going on? :s Thank you! Z
Google seems to only care about the money and most blogs, 99% are so small in rev generation that they have no problem to ban you. I have www.britneyspears.cc and had adsense. When the beaver pics came out I posted them and added the word NUDE to the page and linked them. A month later I see no more adsense showing up and I emailed them and after 4 attempts I got a reply saying my site contained adult content. I then included links to the same content, same pics posted on the BIG blogs and was told well you have adult content and they cant comment on why the other sites arent banned. I asked to have the site unbanned and I would remove the word nude and never got a reply to that email. Google takes advantage of the smaller guys by putting all these stipulations on the use of the ads. I have used adbrite instead for my adult sites and I can tell you that adsense is the only way to make money and I think google knows that. It all boils down to impressions. Drunkenstepfather gets around 20 million impressions a month so all about money.
I think Adsense mightn't noticed them. But if they come to know abt them they will surely ban this sites. I also found adsense in many such sites and after some times they are away from adsense. ............
Most times google doesn't check out the sites, unless there is a complaint made. Your welcome to report them... then google will do a check, if any nudity (or anything close being nude...) is found on the page, google will disable ads for that site.
I bet most are set up to get the traffic from celebrity posts. They do not go after the adult posts but people post them on site. You could get banned easy for this and i bet alot do. But why make celeb site TRAFFIC. Now will google pay you that is another story. Some sites are adult no doubt about it. They hope no ones reports them i guess.
Digg.com uses NUDE sometimes or links to nude celebrities. I know it's not a normal occurance but it does happen
So, you broke the terms of service, you got the boot. How can you bitch about this? Because they censor out the nudity on the pages containing adsense, thats why they don't get banned. All sites follow googles terms of service, big or small. No, you are wrong on every level. Firstly, he gets 5k visitors a day. Probably lucky to get 500k impressions a month. Secondly, he doesn't run adsense.
Ok... have ANY of you seen ninjadude.com or idontlikeyouinthatway.com? I just did and look what I found They use strong words. Nude, pu**y, vag**na, nip**e slips, upskirt pu**y, cun*, f*ck, gang b**t, ass***e, sl*ts, nude chicks, women in sexy lingerie, a** f**k etc. Ok before I get flamed for this, I just surfed through these sites and found those words and pictures on pages WITH adult content WITH Adsense running on them. These are some old websites that get a good amount of traffic. That's why I posted it here on this topic. Do you think that Google has no way to find out about activities that violate Adsense TOS on these website? Honestly?
I had a site that had the words "Latina" and "Hot" on the same page and the ads didn't appear. The words weren't even next to each other. Stop words can be confusing.
If no one complains about the websites, google probably will never take a 1 second glance to see what they are doing. Why? do you think G has enough time to check EVERY website in it's program? No. There are a couple of reasons why G checks your site: 1- You are new and are just signing up for an account, they will go through your site and see if it's acceptable. ONCE they have done this, and you are accepted, they don't check other sites you put their code on..... unlesss.... 2- The site was reported, this can be for many many reasons... foul language... inappropriate pictures... asking visitors to click ads.... etc. You can easily report any website by clicking on: "Ads by Goooooogle" link. Once their scroll to the bottom you will see: "Send Google your thoughts on the site or the ads you just saw" Click that and follow the steps.
Well if they can check multiple clicks from one ip on one website then certainly trying to stop the abuse of AdSense on such websites should not be that big a deal!
Like I said, why check a site that has no obvious (meaning nothing in their stats, etc) showing up fraudulent? That is a waste of G's time. If a site gets an insane amount of clicks or has a high CTR, then yeah that would spark G's interest as they can see those stats. They don't know a site is showing pictures, using words, etc that violate their TOS as they don't have any 'stats' on that. If your upset that they are going against the TOS, report them.
Iv 'heard' if a site has over a 30% CTR, it will be on g's radar. No idea if it's true... iv had sites with 50% CTR, and never had any problems. Not sure what this has to do with your OP though lol.
