My website is not working ... Can you help ?

Hallo

My server provider change to a new server and one of my wesites
isn't working at the moment.when i open my website this message is
displayed:

Site error: the file /home/renier/public_html/global.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

Does this meed that my server provider must install ionCube PHP ?

 

yes.on a shared server,they need to install it.

 

That's what i thought aswell .. I did inform them about
the problem and they said they would fix it.

if they dont fix the problem i can give u the direction from where u can download ionCube and how to install it.

If your host does it for you, leave them to it.

If you have to do it yourself you need to modify Zend.

 

Thank you for the help. I have a share hosting account and dont have access
to the main root or permision to intall any software. They installed this software yesterday and its working now

 

Glad to hear it. It's a bit of a learning curve to start editing the necessary files yourself.
