Pretty impressive...Alive and Aviva are only 2 years old, but already top 10.

I think STPT.com belongs on that list as well. PR8 homepage! :)

Alive certainly looks like a 'must-submit-to' when lined up against the competition!

I think, Alive, Aviva and many other English Directories have to many Links on the Page (Categories). See Example: alivedirectory.com/Internet/Directories/
    or avivadirectory.com/Directories/

This Page have more to 50 Outbound Links. Thats not good. This Page give a litle litle litle Power (Pagerank) to the Sites. My Directory and other german Directorie have max. 10-15 Links on Page.

Sorry for my bad English. I hope you understand my Post.

    Agreed :)

I think aviva and are alive are somewhere close to the top ten, don't get me wrong they are great directories but then theres botw, stpt, yahoo, micrsofot business directory, etc etc. But they are close!

That truely is a powerful directory and id submit there however i wouldnt based on the fact that your listing (for the fee of $99) is only for a 12 month period! For that money i'd expect a perminant listing (a regular submission at the very least).

Our team of search engine experts worked hard for 5 years and researched and burned their midnight oil and just came to conclusion to list Google, Yahoo and MSN into Top 3 Search Engines list along with other elite search engines in our most popular best search engines list.

How many agree with our decision? Anybody disagree?

I would go with Sabian-- they are among top fve when you consider --popularity, backlink strength and customer service.

Bad English or not you're making a very valid point. This applies to a lot of directories and is a horrid practice. They should limit featured to 10-15 at most and definitely limit at 25-30 total outbounds per page.

For such new directories (Alive & Aviva), they are very strong. These guys are already competing with the top dogs who've been around for 5 to 10 years. That's quite an accomplishment!

These 2 directories in my opinion will surpass the older competitors in no time based on their heavy marketing campaigns.

Also, I just noticed that Google gave AliveDirectory supplemental listings. Cool stuff!
