it's a great state. been here since 12/26/92...still don't own a pair of cowboy boots or listen to country music though :D :D

of course I'll be a much maligned camper come Sept. when our "low temps" are 77 degrees but you know what I'm talking about being where you are!

from the state park's website, here's a normal view of the falls (not mine):

and here we have it 5 mins later(same location) after a storm miles upstream(also not mine):

    thanks!

I couldn't help but think...I bet this place is jammed in the summer provided there is still water

have you ever been tubing on the Guadalupe River? that is a blast and 1/2!!

one tube for you, one tube for the cooler ;)

Alas, no tubing on the Guadalupe. The last camping I did was in mountains out from Silver City, NM. We pitched camp right by the water. Lovely spot.

Y, I wouldn't want to be there under those circumstances! being caught in the rush anyway!!
at the trail head they have a big ol' warning about it - with these pics.
thanks! spring is already here...too bad it's so dry though...wild flowers are awesome here but you never know with the rain or lack thereof.

summer will be to NY in only 3 more months ;)

I finished a few more pics from last weekend.

Me and my friend might head back before it's 90 degrees during the day and 75 at night just to see if we can get some really sweet sunset/sunrise pics :)
