Is this stretching the rules?

Whould anyone say this is stretching the rules? You really don't know they are adwords ads till you click them, unless you notice the "Ads by Google" at the left.

That link unit is fine. You should take the bottom ad out & create a smaller one near the mid section of the page. The bottom ad won't get you anywhere... IMO

Yes, I agree. Ads on the bottom will not get noticed by anyone. Move the ads in the MIDDLE of the page. That should raise your CTR a bit

 

I am a total noob here, What does CTR mean?

 

CTR = Click Through Rate, it is equal to no. of clicks per hundred impressions out of the total impressions.

 

Ad is fine.

Basicaly moving ad up from bottom will get you more clicks for same amount of traffic. You will earn more money.

Ctr Means money in short terms. Click thru rate is real term.

 

the link unit is fine and in fact nicely blended. G recommends that spot for the link
