Hey everyone,

I've just wanted you guys to be aware of frauds. Recently i have been identity theft. I try to make a trade with a new customer of mine PS3 for $620.

My new customer(That i never done business with before) by the name of Johnson Wei claim that he sended out a money order check to me on November 30th and the tracking number show that it got to my neighborhood on december 2. Ok, here is the problem the money order never got to me. The strange part is the day he claim his money order got lost on december 2 is the same day he didn't E-mail me. The next day he did E-mail me and told me he was coming to california somewhere in december. He is one of the most annoying/strangest asian preson i have ever talk to. He always call me late at night and ask me some perverted questions, i ain't going to give out any detail..Creepy. He did call me somewhere in december and asked me what bank i go to, he also asked me what was my mom and dad name . I did told him what bank i went to(mistake). At that point he hade alot of my Pii and bank name. On december 12th his money order was cash out at Well fargo on fremont under my name(Someone has Identity theft me at that point, my guess is Johnson Wei). He called me up and told me what happen. The wired part was he said a mexican guy cash out his money order. I didn't believe him. The next thing i know he was makeing a Thread about me and telling everyone that i stole his money order. The next day i took action and i called my local PD report him for fraud. 1/31/07 two officers came over to my house and did a report on this. I showed them my signature. I was clear after that.

Johnson Wei sended me a Usps claim that was notarized. My bank and Usps told me not to sign anything if i didn't recvied his money order check.

Johnson Wei attempt to scam me. He asked me to wire him some money. What for? He think he chould just be nice to me and ask me for money? What a scammer. Be careful everyone his username is aoshichanx. Jonathan chan is a friend of his that live near by me. I don't know if he got anything to do with this. He called me the day i blocked Johnson Wei. That just got me thinking...


In my opinion i think Johnson Wei did it.

1. He knows my bank name
2. He has enough Personal Identifiable Information about me to make a fake ID under my name

I think he dig up my trash for the rest of my information.

I even encourage him to go to his local PD and look at the video tape in Well fargo in fremont.

What next fingerprint?

I received everything he send me just fine beside his money order.

1. I got his Usps claim
2. I got his Receipt

The bottomline is i think he is trying to pull one on me.

First i am going to report this as mail theft, if i don't see any result. I am going to report him for mail fraud.

I am planning to take him to court

I cant understand what you mean that he says he lost the money order? This is a shame though about losing over half a grand

 

Thats what he claim when he first spoke with me about his money order. Than he change the story saying some mexican guy cash it out under my name. Now, he is saying i did it(again i never received his money order). Weird Eh? So many false allegations. I think he is just trying to get a free PS3 since it is so popular.

wow what a bad encounter for you, everytime you look at a ps3 now I beat you will remember it, its a shame you cant report him or do anything, it would be good to know what country as giovanni said.

I hate scammers. They want to make money with no work. They also don't care about those who they scam!

 

I think the victims of scams should get together and go on a violent rampage, in which scammers hands will be removed by stopping circulation with a mouse cord.

Well yes, this is indeed a leason in life. I did a report on him. My local PD, they send the report to the detectives. I doubt the detectives will take this case cause its to small amount of money. I am sure U.S. Postal Inspection Service will help me out. This happen in the U.S

I agree with you. Yesterday i was watching a document call; How To Rob A Bank. It's about Scams and frauds on the internet. Something on the document got me wondering. One of the investigator say; Most frauds notrize thier claim. It only cost $10 bucks to notrize a claim. I really think Johnson Wei is scaming me.

Johnson Wei did so many crims;

Fraude - Useing a fake ID under my name.
Forgery - Impersonating me and frame me.
Federal offense - Opening my mail.
False allegations - Telling people i cash out his money order.
Defamation of Character - Talking bad about me.
Emotional damage - I feel like i been hurt.
Scam - Ask me to wire him some money.
Sexual harassment - Ask me Perverted questions on the phone.
Staking - Hire someone to take a picture of my house and some kid next door to me.
harassment - Call me late at night constantly. I got phone bills to prove it.
Attempt Robbery - Provike other people to come over to my house and take my stuff.
Attempt Murder - Treats to do something horrible if i don't give him what he wants.

I chould go on.

Me and my lawyer was talking about this last week. This should be a case soon. Now all i have to do is wait.

Heh.. Yeah, i'm trying to stay out of trouble and just get better everyday. Life is a test. Always work on the weakness inside.

Let me tell you what he told me somewhere in dec06 on the phone. Johnson Wei said Quote "Just forget the money order" Why would he say that? Is it because he knows he or his friend cash it out? I didn't got your money order. How the hell can I prove something that I never got? You got any proof that I Sign and Cash out your money order? i must say Nam is good at spinning. he is determined to look like the victim. at times he sounds believable...but then he resorts to kiddy tactics and loses his credibility; for example trash talking and threats (on anandtech), using your info to create ebay accounts and bidding on high priced items. karma is a bitch...i hope Nam gets what he deserves. good luck nailing this scumbag.
