{if} Google decides to close adsense product.

Now you cannot no more put google ads on your site and earn cpc revenue.

What will be your first move?
    How it will affect you?

It could kill all incomes of many webmasters, cause for example, yahoo ppc (Overture) program not works with many countries (Eastern Europe, Asia), Adsense works

I would spend more time working on IM, (see my sig), and I would probably close a few sites.

I'd probably look for private sellers or move to one of the major CPM network.

If that didn't work - I don't know what I'd do. I really don't see the Google AdSense system crashing, at worst I see it being superceeded in which case I'd just upgrade to the latest and greatest way of monetizing a website.

First of all google is not going to do that anytime soon. They make a killing on adsense. If it DID happen - I'd just take the adsense ad spots and switch them over to one of the programs I'm currently not using. yahoo maybe? I assume yahoo or msn would step up and take google's place as the leader in this market if google went away!

There are lots of revenue sources - adsense is just one of them.

    could be a good thing..
i would sell my own ads
i remember before adsense selling text and banner impressions for good money

good will never close or terminate adsense to real webmasters
they would lose millions/billions in advertisers

killing adsense = killing income = unhappy share holders = bad business + angry webmasters = another adsense copy popping up (excluding the existing ypn which is only for americans!)

So in short, unless google finds oil on its company premises its not going to stop adsense.

CPA offers and Text link sales are doing as much as adsense for me so I wouldn't care much. I suppose i would use more adbrite and CPM programs. Unfortunately YPN isn't available for me too.

IF for some reason Adsense did close down, YPN would very quickly become international. If it happened, I'd just hop on over to YPN or MSN.
