Perm link = forever?

    So several people are selling permanent links on their sites and blogs. What exactly does permanent mean? It for sure cannot mean forever. Does this just mean as long as the website is alive? What if the person shuts off the site in only a few months..

    I rather doubt anybody will put a link somewhere esle for ever... I assume it's the yearly basis..

    Will do [​IMG]. I'm assuming each seller is different.

    I was thinking about selling links, but I think on a yearly basis does sound good. (Might get complications w/ perm)

    Good question - how can any directory owner guarantee that the End of the World is not just round the corner?!

    I think permanent means some years, maybe three or four..or maybe forever or till the site exists..(I think any site will not be down in a few month ;))... And if you get a link for 3 years, I think it is worthed...things changes quite a lot in 2-3 years, maybe the site that bought links become popular like google in 3 years and the site from where it bought the link dies out..who knows..;)
