I was lucky enough to hear a radio commercial the other day for an English guy calling himself "The Rich Pom" claiming that he's set up a website to do with affiliate marketing and that by listening to him you could earn thousands of dollars every week working from home. The reason I say that I was "lucky" to hear it, is because I investigate these money-making opportunities and 99.9% of them I can identify as a scam or not. What I found with The Rich Pom was interesting to say the least. Initially, I was impressed with his site - proof of earnings, video testimonials, ABN number, trading address etc. It all looked different to the average online scam. Maybe this wasn't? I personally know people that have lost countless dollars on schemes like this, so I decided to spend the time and effort (and indeed the money) to find out if the information this Rich Pom provides actually can help you work from home. After paying the $79, I was directed to a web page where I could download his document. This was hassle free as it was a simple word document that I opened straight away. The document was 53 pages long, which was again impressive, although length is not important (as many men will tell you). What was more important was the information in the document. Could The Rich Pom teach me how to earn money? To say that is clearly explained is an understatement. This guy has gone to great lengths to ensure that even the most inexperienced person could actually do this. This was also quite refreshing. What was most important, however, was that the information he gives you is really clever - this "Rich Pom" is an internet guru, one of today's finest entrepreneurs. OK, I know how to earn money online - I could happily earn $80,000 working from home with nothing but my PC for company. BUT, this bloke has taught me even stuff I don't know. No doubt about it, The Rich Pom is a genius. Was I wrong about thinking The Rich Pom website was a scam? Absolutely. It is not. Not only is his document like gold dust, he offers real person support. I even phoned him up with questions and he would talk to me for ages - no rush whatsoever. The Rich Pom is teaching people in Australia how to earn a decent income working part time from home. I have no hesitation in recommending The Rich Pom website to anyone. I also have no hesitation in admitting I was wrong and maybe there are genuine work from home opportunities out there! Well done to this Rich Pom guy for dispelling the myth!
PS.. I do agree with you on the ACA thing tho. ACA is USUALLY crap and give a one sided argument. in that interview with "the rich pom" they didnt give him a chance. Just because a few people couldnt work out the affiliate marketing game, doesnt make his product a scam. I havent bought his product, this is just what i saw from the interview.. Nobody should ever read into what is said on ACA.

no, I was just stating that ACA has zero credability and nobody should beleive their crap. We owned a diner a few years ago and ACA blamed us for a car crash that happed out the front of our shop (on the main road)

People invest money all the time into advertising - it's called business. People get loans to start new companies etc etc. He was obviously making money by advertising his product which allowed him to reinvest his earnings back into more advertising - it's a very simple method, one which a lot of affiliate marketing is based on. Spend money to get traffic and have higher revenues than costs, then reinvest and increase the scale. It's not rocket science. LOL I showed it to my mate who actually bought the ebook and even he laughed - he really did get punished in the report. I sort of felt bad for him, but he did bring it on himself. That is why it is so important to conduct business ethically. The ACA probably weren't completely fair but at the same time they didn't lie about anything either, and the Rich Pom made too many claims, none of which he was able to back up. Plus there are people here earning more than your idol and I'd dare say that a luck chunk of his earnings come form his own ebook sales! Like the old saying - those that can't - teach! Making money off the net isn't anything special and you shouldn't idolise him for it - I know I'm making a full time income off the net and am making a hell of a lot more than the average Australian, maybe even more than your idol - the rich pom. All of this is of course made without lying about how much I earn, or setting up fake testimonials and selling a half baked ebook. All my advice is offered to the people of these forums for the wonderful value of $0 - you can even read my latest article in my signature which summarizes my earnings in the year of 2006. Now I'm not saying that the information in his ebook is lies or people aren't getting $79 worth of value - I can't really comment on it because I haven't read it, but I'm quietly confident that if he is like every other "get rich quick" salesman that what he is pitching is the bright side of what essentially still something requires hard work and bit of business sense. Like anything in life - nothing comes for free - but that sure isn't the way he paints it on his site. The point is if you want to do anything long term in life you need to make sure everything is above board and completely transparent. The rich pom isn't this. He is just a sleazy salesman that is exploiting the less fortunate but lulling them into false notion that buying his product will solve their problems - hell I think he even has a chapter in his ebook about the very techniques he uses to sell products to the "losers", just like the ones that buy his ebook.
He made claims that none of which he could back up? Are you for real? What the hell do you think the PayPal statement is? I have used PayPal for years and it's real! Look, whether you buy it or not, it's up to you, but there's lots of people who have got it and lots of people who have made money. Good luck in whatever you do.
Maybe he doctored them like he doctored his testimonials - the guys reputation is shot! The only reason you guys are even posting here is because this thread is now ranking higher on Google (it comes up 6th for the term "the rich pom") than all your little affiliate friend's pages that are supporting your ebook - mind you they are no doubt supporting it because they are getting paid! Did you get taught that in his ebook - push crap products and get paid... all you got to do is say they are good and add some fake testimonials. LOL it sucks when someone suggests that a product might not be all it is cracked up to be AND gets their opinion to feature prominently in Google.
