    JNRCORPS,

I myself would advertise this service with a targeted adwords campaingn or something along the lines of that.

If you get on the search engines, people might be getting your ad that are too far out of your area of service. So it would be wasted advertising.

Target market the area that you service !

Since you serve a local area I would use offline advertising. Try some ads for your url in the advertising papers you find in your local grocery store. Also a classified ad in your local newspaper should not be too expensive.

There are also some good classified online sites, such as usfreeads.com. I have found their ads often make the top page of Google for the keyword.

since the type of service you are providing is limited to customers in your area, i would definitely try to get into any type of local ads or local campaign papers that you can. This way you have better targeting for potential customers, rather than advertising to those outside your range of service.

    - Make sure you try and get targeted backlinks to your site.
    - Add interesting content that is related to your keywords.
    - Add a link to your website in your sig.
    - Submit to directories
    - Buy some high page rank links such as pr6 + (relavent of course)

If you do some of those i suggested will start you on the right track.

You have to be ready to spend money...but of course there are cheaper ways to promote or advertise but it might not generate the right traffic that you want. Another alternative is starting an affiliate program.
You can have yourself listed in an affiliate network like CJ, Linkshare and AffiliateBOT. In this case, Affiliates can do the marketing for you....

I agree with what some of the others have said in here about offline advertising. I would create flyers and pass them around neighborhoods, create business cards and leave them wherever appropriate in your city, local newspaper advertising, and possibly radio advertising as well.

For online marketing I would do targeted (i.e. regional) PPC campaigns, submit your site to directories, and put an ad on USFreeAds.com.
