I use google.com "site:" search for 10 domain sites.
( all domains are not mine )
It worked for 9 domain sites search.
But a domain site search shows the Google Error:
    ++++++++++++++++++++Google Error message +++++++++++++++++
    We're sorry...
... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google.

Could someone explain why it happened?

    who has the problem?
my computer, Google or that website ?

Wow... I have never seen that one before. Are you sure that your computer is virus and malware free?

I tried 5 computers at 5 different place (also different IP sets)

    All same results.

I don't think 5 computers all have virus or malware.

    still confused

The link beneath your "site:" command is http://www.google.com/sorry/misc/?c...:forums.digitalpoint.com&hl=en&start=180&sa=N which will obviously take you to that page..

The error page being mentioned comes forth if too many requests are mader from the same IP for commands like "site:" etc.. You can try a few hrs later and that page will be gone and proper results displayed

    well,
I just dont understand why you use site prefix before the URL forms.digitalpoint.com
when I try the URL lam getting it (forums.digitalpoint.com). and it displays good result also in the organic listing of Google when the exact query is passed to Google. But If i click that link ( site.forums.digitalpoint.com, I also recieve the same error you guys recieved. ) Did I not understand the real problem ?. Please advice

I saw this message about two years ago when a phpBB virus was propagated infecting Google.

Maybe the problem is not on your end but Google's.

    403 Forbidden
The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated. If the request method was not HEAD and the server wishes to make public why the request has not been fulfilled, it SHOULD describe the reason for the refusal in the entity. If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 404 (Not Found) can be used instead.

    I've experienced this error too....
and i noticed that when you are using an automated SERP checker tool, you may likely get this error message.

I am not using any automated SERP checker tool.

It is a simple google search only.
