Hey there check it out at dnscoop.com... it will give u an idea of what a link will be worth with Text Link Ads... Maybe thats a good price for you to charge.
IMO - Text-link-ads is a bad idea. #1 - you make it easier for Google to discover algorithmically that your site is selling links and then they can negate the value of those links, which will push smarter buyers away #2 - if your site is really worth anything, you'll make more money by not paying a commission/cut to Text-link-ads
Yeah, but this guy is asking about SELLING links...and it's a bad idea IMO to tie an established site into somewhere like text-link-ads
We have pr7 and pr8 websites and we have been told 30 -$50 a month for inner pr7 links. That seems the going rate, you can try to get $100 but they may not go so fast .Sometimes the headaches are not worth they $30.00 though
On dp, the price usually would be lower than outside. I 'd say around $40 a month is fair depending on how strong your page is.
I've seen PR7 links selling from $50 per month. If it is a good site, with tons of traffic, you would be able to fetch considerably more than that amount.
high pr link prices went down unfortunately.. now you can find pr6-7 links with 20-25$ / month which is not so much
Hi if your site is a travel site I would be very interested in buying a link to my PR5 travel site. Please can you PM me the URL.
PR is really not that valuable by itself. Which site would you rather buy a link from?? Site #1: $25 PR 2 Clicks/Week on your Ad = 1,000 Site #2: $25 PR 8 Clicks/Week on your Ad = 500 Good PR is great but it's just a number. However, say that on top of your good page rank, you have some great traffic AND your links will be placed in a high traffic area of your site so they, in turn, get a high amount of clicks. Then the answer is: Sell them at a very agreeable price so that you'll easily sell out every month. Like Mr. Solutions said, you could sell at $100 but there would be no guarantee. Sell at a price that people will be dying to pay for. If you get flooded with PM"s from potential buyers, up the price next month. Eventually you will find the perfect price.
although PR is 1 thing to look at,if i spend money on links, traffic and if its revelent to my site is important as well
One thing when you are comparing the other PR7 sites that are getting are good money is traffic. You point out that you're receiving minimal traffic. Most PR7 sites would be receiving a decent amount of traffic. When you combine high traffic, PR7 and same niche you can expect to get good money ($50-$100). At that point you're talking advertising and not simply link juice. So if you're expecting good money for this PR7 you'll only get that from sites in the same niche. An unrelated site might only offer the $25-$35 you are seeing. For an unrelated site you're only selling juice and not a complete 5 course meal! Good luck with the sales.
