I believe my site is being bombed with invalid activity today. i installed adlogger and this is my blocked activity for the last 12 hours. Any thoughts?

Don't worry about clickbombing, Google tracks everything about your clicks and IP, only worry about when you click on your own ads...

i usually don't, but it's the volume of it today that has me a bit worried -- do the IP ranges in the attachment seem odd? in the last 45 minutes 200 more blocks - anyone experience this before?

amen. Click bombing and click fraud on your ads is fine by google, they admit publicly it happens. It's when they think YOU are the cause you have serious problems.

If you are worried just email adsense.

it's set to block at 3 click

that's like giving money away. why would google make adds with 4 ads in them if they thought it was bad if a visitor clicked more than 3 links?

What do people do with a list of links?

click link1, if they don't like it?
click link2, if they don't like it?
click link3, if they don't like it?
click link4, if they don't like it?
    ..........

Let me know how google takes this.

I have my adlogger set to 3 clicks every 24 hrs, and it still seems to block a load of clicks.....

3 every 24 seems way to high - if you get a visitor in the morning and they check out your site for updates before bed they might click a couple of ads per visit.

Yes, I did... and that actually made me think for a second... what your saying is definitely true... but... with all the recent google bans, does anyone want to take a chance?

I make about... pfft... 80%+ of my income with adsense... if I lost my account.... where I would be then? Reduced to using another publisher program that pays nowhere near as close as G does? :(

Iv emailed adsense about using adlogger and what would be a 'recommended' setting for it ( X number of click during X number of hours ) and I basically got this reply:

We don't endorse the use of any program to help with the click fraud, so we cannot give you an answer to your question.

Yes, iv been trying a lot of different settings out.

that was recommended by someone over on the adlogger forums.

I am now thinking of using a 2-3 clicks per 2 hrs, or something around there.

Anyone have any thoughts to a good setting?

google is great at saying you are responsible for your site but we won't tell you the best way to do that to ensure your account remains in good standing. I am in he same boat -- my earing took off recently and I can't afford to get banned for something I can't control.

    I have %110 confidence I won't get banned. Why don't you?

Do affiliate marketing! My highest days EVER have come when my affiliate commissions were excellent (around $89 for 1 day, $63 from affiliate that day).

My earnings were %100 adense 6 months ago, probably %70 now, and I keep trying to lower them

Did you ever stop and think why advertisers want to pay money for your clicks? to sell them affiliate products or sell them their own products, becuase there is more money there

just some thoughts, good luck to you

What niche of sites do you have? I am in the beginning stages of some new sites that will be using CJ on them, will be interesting to see how it goes :)

A good bulk of my sites are in the fansite niches... well over half of my sites are, and that is where I make most of my money - via adsense.
