I've setup a service to help webmasters get more from their parked domain names. WhyPark.com lets you pick your keywords, add your AdSense, YPN, Chitika, etc code and generate a huge content site. You just need to setup an account, which is $99.95 for hosting 100 domain names/sites. There are no monthly fees, and hosting is included. Here's a few more features: - Built-in text link manager for adding affiliate links or selling text links - Ability to transfer the domain to another WhyPark.com easily (great for selling domains here or on eBay) - Auto-updated content (I continually add fresh content) - Unique sites, since you're picking the keywords and each site has rotating articles - Easy to manage through one simple interface - Just change your domain names to use my nameservers and pick the keywords, and you're all set (no hosting, ftp, downloads, etc) There's a lot more information, an affiliate program through Clickbank, FAQ's and more here: http://www.WhyPark.com Here's a sample site based around virus, spyware, & worm keywords: http://www.PCviruses.net PM me with any questions, or ask here. I look forward to everyone's feedback. Thanks, Craig
Absolutely. This isn't like a traditional domain parking service where your domain sits there with a page of links. It's almost like it creates a niche article directory. They get picked up and ranked in the search engines and really are useful sites, not just typical parking. Here's an example: http://www.pcviruses.net 144 pages indexed: http://www.google.com/search?q=site:www.pcviruses.net PageRank of 4
Another use of having content articles is directory acceptance. You can proactively drive traffic to your parked domains, and when people get there, it doesn't look like a crappy parked page. I'm a customer, and I think that so far it's been money well spent, but I would like to see images, template choices & individual site stats.
2 thumbs up in my book so far. 80 domains loaded so far since 29 Aug. Most are already indexed in MSN, just waiting around on Google while doing some promo here and there. Some Adsense revenue already starting to come in.
We recently ran a promo on Site-Reference to give away free, single domain accounts. We still have that online here: www.whypark.com/siteref.cfm So, you can signup for a free single domain account and see how it all works. Thanks, Craig
Two questions regarding WhyPark: 1) Can anyone verify where the content comes from, who owns it and whether WhyPark has the legal rights to serve it? 2) Is anyone concerned that WhyPark does not provide any type of contract or terms and conditions agreement when you sign up with them? Thus they could change pricing policies at any time and they are not providing any indeminfication so if they are serving content onto your domains that they do not have the rights to, you could get sued by the content owned. Thoughts?
whyparker - good questions. If 'cdrinteractive's' was a well known member in this community - i would had said you have nothing to worry about. yet not having many posts - especially low itrader - your question is legit. please answers?!?
I've got exactly 100 domains parked with them currently. For the money its worth it, don't expect amazing results. Obviously parking domains isn't huge money, but I liked whypark over the rest of the domain parking options
Hi Craig, these questions NEED to be answered imm personally by YOU. Just to add; 3) Does google view this kind of parking as legit for adsense? And what about the traditional parking and adsense? Are there any instances of whypark sites getting banned from adsense?
Thanks...I have created a website on whypark see it here www.olympicsdatabase.info I have around 1-10 hits per day with little or no advertising and make pennies daily on them
The pcviruses site seems to be deindexed at Google and has only one result on Yahoo. Is that a reflection of the longevity of this type of parking? It looks promising, but not if the sites are deindexed after a period of time.
Google will soon de-index all of these, I hope you know. Might as well make your own minisite template for free with a feed agregator. They don't look good enough to spend money on, IMO ... Question though, do they work for IDNs?
This was an interesting thread. Some interesting opinions. Why am I a "PEON" how do i become Da Man?? Cheers, Fruity,CE0 SunnyOkanagan.ca
EDealShopper you still around???Gonna sign up with Whypark thru you if you give me a hell Ya!!!!!!!!!
I just check for indexed pages in Google for "http://www.pcviruses.net".... And i found there are no pages indexed now. Can any one suggest why Google has DE-indexed all the pages of "http://www.pcviruses.net".
