I don't think so because you are hosting youtube clips entirely. Then again, I have seen other entertainment sites with youtube clips and adsense on them.

    hey friend,

i was'nt worried about copyright issues....YOUTUBE provides API keys to programmers and developers who are freely allowed to work with and display youtube vids in thier projects. If you'r registered on youtube then from ur profile area try to retrieve ur API..you will see a note there. So we do have rights to display youtube vids (thats why they provide embeded vid codes). There are numerous wordpress plugins (some using youtube API keys) to display include youtube vids .1000's of blogs embed youtube vids in thier posts and use adsense.Various websites with youtube vids using adsense with no trouble. :)...Even youtube itself uses adsense but google owns it now anyhow Now i wonder why am i even worried.....:p ....

I think its time to send them an email

It is safe to ask support, so long as you don't decide to put AdSense ads up on the site even if they say no :p

"YOUTUBE provides API keys to programmers and developers who are freely allowed to work with and display youtube vids in thier projects."

Yes, that doesn't mean you are not violating copyright laws by doing it. For instance they removed over 100,000 viacom videos they were hosting improperly a couple weeks ago.

They would have been on your site without copyright permission also. Sure plenty of sites host youtube and adsense, you asked if it was allowed, I simply pointed out one possible violation to consider.

Good luck and yes contacting adsense directly with the URL is the only way to fly.
