I've just sold a few domains and was wondering how I could push them without having to pay.

Any email will do as long as the receiving party can receive it. However, it may be easier if the person is already a godaddy account holder to use the same email address which he associates with Godaddy.

I believe GoDaddy also allows you to transfer the domain name to a prospective account. Then the recipient creates an account and goes to the account management home and clicks on Accept Account Change. Then enters a transaction key that has been emailed by Godaddy. That's it. Pretty easy to transfer as long as the domain name remains registered through GoDaddy.
