I am trying it on one site, getting same results as Geomark. First day results - Kontera was about 10% of a normal day adsense, which is OK. But the adsense for the site was at its lowest level for ages (30% down on average). Today is also looking quite poor on adsense, but too early to tell yet. CPC on Kontera was about 25% my average CPC in Adsense. If its additional, that's fine. It its instead, it's not so good. I'll stay with the test for a few days to be sure, because I like the Kontera style of advertising. Could be an expensive few days though!
I think there is not much advertisers in kontera, I got clicks range from $1-$2/click in adsense, but in the same page getting around $0.20/click from Kontera... but it did'nt affect my earnings in adsense..

Submitted my application today - hoping to turn around a site where G for search has it in the right place but are using an alternate definition of my keywords for ads. And yes, I know about competitive banning - in my case, 200 bans got me only more of the same.

I do.... no issues, I think the general rule for all of the contextual advertisers is no other contextual ads and no abundance of pop-ups, all is is (hypothetically) ok
Thank you so much for this info. I make about US$60-80 per day from Google. I put Kontera on old pages that are only visited by search engine people and now I'm making $30-50 extra per day! This is amazing.
Thanks Jcom, Can u please show me the proof that google allowed the site owners to concurrently run both Kontera and adsense in a single page so that I too can do and get benefited by this. Wil u please tell the link to google adsense which displays such information.
Too bad my country isn't one in the list. Well, I am not in a hurry. Maybe one of these days they will accept applicants from Asian countries as well.
As long as yours is an English site, they should approve you even your country is not indicated. My website got accept even though I am from Singapore.
Yep, my Adsense CTR and earnings dropped 40%. And Kontera is making back only about half of that. I'll let it run for a while and see if it improves. I really would like to diversify more and I like the Kontera in-text ads. They also seem like nice people - emailed me today welcoming me to the program. I hope they do well and we all do well. Really hoping they can boost their advertiser base now that they are adding so many more outlets through publishers like us.
yea.. even though the adsense drop, i will still continue with kontera for few weeks coz i really want to diversify the income...
The ad will display for the pages you added the given code only. Keyword selection seems to be automatic but the support team might help you on optimization although i guess this is not the genral case.
