I have heard that you can turn off the "Advertise on this site" link in your google ads, but I can't see where. Anyone have any experience with turning off this feature in your ads?
Exactly Also it takes a while to come into effect.. maximum 24 hours. (I found this when I made the changes.. so just be patient )
but why do u want to remove it?? if someone really likes your site then he may advertise...u dont want more incoem or what??
Exactly! The probability of getting higher CTRs by turning of the function is much more higher. But it also depends on your sites design and ad placements etc...
savy adwords users can still advertise on the site. So you may not end up losing money on it anyhow. Pierce
i think u should not turned it off coz some one may be interested in ur site for advertisement but also i have heared that it makes more beneficial then the ON one condition so as u wish.
Thanks for the instructions and the comments were excellent. I want to turn it off for the reasons stated above. I think that it will be more beneficial for me do do some direct advertiser negotiations in the future.
99.99999999991929999999299991999999999 etc etc of advertisers don't click on the link that says ADVERTISE ON THIS SITE . So why have it in the way and get a better CTR?
I have disabled the "Include me in Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up" 2 days ago, but this "Advertise on this site" is still on my ads! wtf?
I agree. Even though people have been saying that "advertise on this site" is beneficial and allows advertisers to target your site, I haven't heard that publishers do get benefits from it.
Same for me,I disabled it yesterday but the "Advertise on this site" appears on every ad block.Any ideas when it will go away?
