Another PayPal Verification Question

I have read somewhere in DP that we can use Virtual credit cards to verify PP account. Infact someone has offered help in verifying the account, ofcourse for money . What I would like to know is whether the offer is still valid or not. Thanx

 

If you don't have any other option then you can use VCC. First try to get a real CC. If you can't get CC for any reason then go for a VCC.

Contact Paypal and ask them about the usage of VCC

 

If you have a American Paypal account, I don't think that VCC will help you.

If you are from India, check with Citibank , they seems to be so willing to offer free credit cards to almost anyone.

Yes, I do not like VCC myself because it defeats why Paypal chooses to use Credit Card to verify you in the first place. VCC does not provide any proof on who you are and what your credit history is like. If VCC can be legally used then they might as well take away the whole verification process altogether.

 

I wont suggest using a VCC but then again many people are having no probs in using it . I would say try to get a CC or maybe you can try getting verified by adding your bank .

Well, Citibank has been quite liberal in issuing credit cards from my experience. I believe it stretches to almost any country.

In India, it appears that you don't even need to submit any supporting documents and the service charges are waived.

For instance, if you are from Philippines, you do not need to submit any supporting documentations too http://www.citibank.com.ph/PHGCB/AP...=/staticfiles/english/promo/det/imax_over.htm and the basic card has a 1200 pesos annual fees.

 

That's a YES. PayPal can be verified by VCC card.

Thanks a lot for all those replies. I have contacted CitiBank about my eligibility. I'm a student, so I don't know whether they will allow or not. Till then I've decided to keep away from VCC.

why not to get a CC on your dad's name and then apply for an add-on CC on your name and use it to get verified

 

if you wount succeed in ur CC i can always Vcc.
