    I prefer the e-mails saying that you have won £1,000,000 and you just have to call a random family to cash in :rolleyes:

    is it possible its a real email and a crook gave your email as their own?

    sometimes that can happen unless your address is nonsensical

    I have noticed it is getting more difficult to weed out the spam from the genuine emails. There has been occassions where I have opened a spam email thinking it was genuine.

    Oh how I laughed when I realised my mistake:eek:

    Never had spam e-mails since I bought Spam Arrest. Only $5 a month but its an exceptional filter of spam mails. Anyone who sends you mails have to make a confirmation otherwise they go to the basket of trash. No problem since then.

    Report the idiot to Yahoo, they are pretty tight on deleting accounts these days and the more inconvenience we can provide these fools in the form of making them set up new accounts the less time the prat has for sending spam.

    @popotalk, good point on spam arrest except I always worry when legit mail gets thrown in the trash as it is, spam arrest seems to have increased this problem and it could result in missing mails maybe?

    @paidhosting:
    Is it really spam, and not just an idiot who doesn't know who to complain to? I mean perhaps the user had a problem with a website, and that website happened to be listed in your directory, so he assumed that you were connected to that business? Unfortunately you can't filter against stupidity.

    I'd like to think I'm not an idiot.But it's nice that some unknown calls me one. My address was needed for a wedding invitation by the way.I appreciate that you took off my address and email could you take of my last name,if you must keep this thread.
