When google bans, shitslists, blackslists (whatever you call it) a site, do they ban the entire site, or just the individual site that causes it?

What do you mean by entire site and individual site? I don't see any difference between the two.

it depends on what they are banning......if u are spamming keywords on your website ...they would ban you website.

If you are clicking on the ads of adsense just to increase ur revenue then they would ban you adsense id

When google bans a website from the serps, it bans the entire website - not just a page.
But there are in between options as well, where google will gives the URL's a lower position in the serps. That too, from my understanding, would apply to the whole site.

There are known examples of banning main page but not subpages so there are many possibilities to punish bad children ;)

just a follow up question. how will you know if your site is banned? that is in serps, not in adsense.

Is there a tool that will let you see if your site is banned?

Do a search "site:yourdomain.com" in Google , if you get results, you are not banned.

The publioshers are banned and not the sites. If a publisher is banned for invalid clicks, its a ban for life.
