My daughter is having her birthday party andd she wants Panago Pizza (Very popular in Canada): http://www.panago.com/ so I went to there website to get a menu and order and apart from the not-so-cool home page the site doesn't work. Guess it's Pizza Hut for us.
Lol, Panago failed. I dont like their layout. Background around flash is very white, kinda hurts the eyes, not to mention that everything else also has dull pale colors.
didndt work in my fox, does work in ie though (and the pizzas look delicious) happy bday to the daughter, cheers
What a shame. The site doesn't work (highly unprofessional, its best to not have a site at all!). Pizza Hut is much better
The Pizza Hut Canada ( http://pizzahut.ca ) site sucks too, couldn't find prices or even figure out how to use their menu. We ended up ordering Dominos, their site was user friendly.
Pizza Hut tooo??? Noooo.... If you were from Toronto, I would recommend a nice indie pizza place called Cora's I hope your daughted didn't mind the pizza
Lol, Pizza places everywhere should form a union, put a couple of dollars into a big basket, each, and hire a web developer who can tie his own shoes and was potty-trained. North Van? Burnaby here
It worked just fine for me. If you want I can screenshot the menu and post it here for you. - Here you go.
Flash makes the site look more professional but it can be annoying sometimes. For a pizza ordering website, Flash is really not necessary. Do you guys have Papa Johns there? I love their pizza and wings! BTW happy birthday to your daughter.
Yes, we have Papa Johns. I personally like Delissio, for the dark and dreary days when I am forced to eat Pizza. I apologize that I didnt say this before, but Happy Birthday to your Daughter
Yeah I honestly think flash is use way too many times when it shouldnt be. A well laid out html design is far more functional and easy to use, and can look just as slick if done well.
Thanks That was my point and both Panagos and Pizza Hut lost my business tonight and probably on future nights as well.
Flash pages drive me nuts! I close them immediately. Maybe it's just my personal bias, but to me they scream a "nonprofessional" message. Made for kids and teens.
Yeah why couldn't they have the design not be centered around flash? what a waste of some really forward looking business avenues.
I love Vancouver. My favorite memory of Canada was crossing the border, and 5 miles down the road there was a green house and a giant pile of animal manure that had a sign right beside it "Welcome to British Columbia"
