Appraisal: A really old domain.

    yesterday,thanks to DP user chriscm I managed to grab this 11 year old PR 3 domain.

    velorec.com

    I like the name and was thinking about starting a directory but then I received an offer of 100$ for the domain.

    Now I am not sure what to do :confused: Please help me decide.

    It's age is great...any backlinks? Develop it...you're losing a lot selling for only a $100.

    Dont sell your domain, because it will worth alot after some years, So better if you develop it.

    Domains are not valuable because of their age and google doesn't give priority to them. It's the keywords and content what makes it valuable.

    Exactly right, except I would have to disagree about the part about Google. I believe aged domains gives the domain a bit better ranking in Google because of the age. I would develop the name if I were you.
