Heads up on a DP Member... Montel

I had the misfortune of dealing with a guy called Montel here at DP.

Having had several contacts with him regarding some work and then sending over the work along with a part payment I received nothing!

After many attempts to contact him and then a creating and winning a Paypal dispute still nothing!

I then noticed that he had started looking for victims, I mean work again.

I posted a message asking for Montel to refund the money he owed me which resulted in this Private Message.....

"!lame. you are a prick for that post. please take it down as i have been sent the refund it takes paypal time ro get the request!"

After several months of trying I finally received my money and an email from HIS MOTHER apologising for the way that Montel had acted.

Montel is now asking me to retract my personal thoughts and views.

Well, sorry but I still feel that Montel is a no good, cheating member of this forum for offering services and then not delivering.

I hope that no one else gets caught by this guy.

To give benefit of the doubt, get him to do the work WITHOUT sending him any money until the job is completed AND delivered!!

Sorry Montel but I would never trust a single word you say!

thanks for the heads up...I tend not to deal with anyone under 250 posts...which means that they have been around awhile...

We need to have a dedicated sticky thread with known scammers.

There are plenty of links just like that on this guy!

It is a shame that he is still around trying to extract money from unsuspecting, legitmate traders.

A ban is the only thing that can stop him but he is still here!

Thanks for this warning. I think it is indeed helpful to warn members about this fraud considering that such type of members should really needed to be punished.
