Any ideas if it will be passing by Vancouver, Canada? Last eclipse I saw was when I was working at the PNE, and it was beautiful.

God, Vancouver is enwrapped in fog currently. Im looking out of my 18th story window, and I can see my balcony, faintly. Hope it lifts before tonight.

I have set out at night taking pictures and visiting with neighbors at such times. You can get some great picts with digital camera if you have a good zoom.

Lol, an eclipse is never the same in a picture. Its one of those things you must view with your own eyes, like the Northern lights.

it is global so if you can see the moon just now at the time you have there, and for the next 3 hours, you'll see the moon is a rust red, that lasts for 77 minutes and then takes 2 hours to fade. but just this minute, it is almost covered, and will be Rust Red for 77 minutes in the next 20 minutes.

I'm in Arizona so I won't be able to see it. I saw it quite a few years ago though.
