So I bid and win a site over at NamePros... http://www.namepros.com/developed-sites-for-sale/299810-teenbusinessforum-com.html The seller and I are talking over AIM. He is like "rushing" me to send payment by PayPal ($30) and so I send it to him, and he goes away without sending the domain and/or site. I'm so pissed. I filed a claim in PayPal because that's usually a sign of a scam, but the fuckers at NamePros are trying to defend him. Who the hell goes away after receiving a payment in a transaction; its suspicious and I've been scammed just like that before. I fucking hate NamePros's n00b fucks.. [rant rant rant blah blah you can rant too]
you should not send all 30$ in advance you should ask him that I send you 10$ in advance and 20$ later,
$60 in my case. Wow that sucks devin. Even worse, the msn name i talked to him on before, he changes the display name to the following: I scammed you get over it!!!
That does suck, DP is much more trustful than namepros, I don't even go there.. Hopefully your claim will go through.
Ah... sorry for you lose brother.... I have lost alot to scams also... people promising things.. and give nothing.
I was scamed by people i did work for and didn't pay but not at sales or other things Sory for you well maybe paypal will charge back (but beeing such a low sum i think they will think it doesn't deserve the efort)
may be you could ask paypal to resolve it? just put a dispute up, m8. and have you tried to contact that dude? hate it when people do not respect other for any amount!
Another reason why Namepros is unproffesional and Digitalpoint is , that is why I went from there, to here .
Looks like it is being sorted. Plus it was over a weekend. Not all webbies like to work at weekends, I always do work over the weekends but Mon to Fri is usually the standard fare for many webmasters. Just my thoughts. As for one forum being better than the other, IMO they are both great webmaster forums, well established and well run, usually any scammers are swiftly dealt with by the staff team.
Then explain why a thread is made here almost every other day about some one geting scamed here!!!! Scamers know nothing will be done to them, so they come here!!!
